Being a midiphobe  I mostly use RTs for my backing tracks but I've had Sforzando on hand in my 2020 for such midi Styles or tracks as I might need. I've just updated to 2021 (804) and noticed today that my midi tracks sounded pretty poor. For whatever reason its playing via Coyote Wavetable. If I look at the midi audio drop down I can change thwt to Sforzando but only get silence if I do. What please are the steps for activating it if doing that isnt fixing it? Ian

Ian,
I don't know if it's useful information or not but, as far as I'm aware, Sforzando can only play a single MIDI instrument. So if you replace Coyote WT with Sforzando using the DXi/VXTi setting then you are putting it in default position, and it's likely that more is being required from it that it's capable of doing (hence the silence).
Try loading Sforzando on the single track you want it on using the "Plugins" tab on the Mixer. Load it in the left-most slot called [None] by clicking on [None] and selecting the plugin.

Hello Ian,
The latest version of Sforzando doesn't work on XP, and it likely got installed when you upgraded Band-in-a-Box. You can grab the ealier version of Sforzando from the \bb\Data\Installers folder
