I was just getting used to using the harmonizer in my 2018 version when I got the 2021 and found out it was very different. I have not had time to properly evaluate the new one, but I wonder how many others like or dislike it. I will say that if it solves the problem of periodically crashing the program, then I'm all in favor as this happened far too often for my liking in the old one. Anyone?

Hi John,
I was just playing around with it and I like it. The effect of artifacts on the harmonies are much less than with Helicon. It's also possible to modify individual notes if you'd like them to be a different harmony.
I was using one voice up and one voice down. It then wrote each vocal line to it's own utility track gave me lots of control over the final sound. What I miss is that in the old harmoniser, I could control the tone of the output and make it sound more or less male/female. That said, though, it's easy enough to find a plugin to do that.
I think you'll be impressed.

From our testing the new harmonizer is definitely more stable, and as Noel pointed out it's more flexible too. Win-win!

is this harmonizer new for 2021 in BIAB and RB or the same as the 'intelligent harmony' of old but an updated version?
i've just tried the harmonizer in RB 2020 and get drop outs and artifacts - maybe because the helicon version tracks with the chords but the intelligent version must 'listen' to the pitch of the vocal and might not play nicely if my vocal is not exactly in tune
