I am simply trying to render tracks that I can drag into Cubase. I've done this 1000 times with earlier releases of BIAB, but with 2021-Win, nothing works right. I have my song tempo set to 135 (the same tempo in Cubase). When I use the file toolbar to save to WAV, I get the new dialog that has the nice new options for requesting high quality stretching etc. But when I render, the bass track came out at 135 as expected, but all the rest came out at 90 BPM. After render, the song still showed as 135 until I tried to play it in BIAB, at which point the tempo box switched to 90. Setting it back to 135 didn't help. I even saved the whole song to text and imported into a File-New so I wouldn't have any residue from prior releases. No luck.
So I gave up on that and decided in order to get the project done, I would just drag each track manually into that box that has WAV, MIDI, etc. . But these came out at 120 BPM !? And the tracks didn't all start at the same time point. The piano track started a beat ahead of everything else -- playing during the countoff.
What a mess. Has anybody else encountered this?

I rebooted my PC and loaded the song into 2021. It showed up as 120. I'm 99% sure I had last saved it at 130. Anyway, I changed the tempo to 130 and played it in BIAB. It played at 130. I ten simply dragged each of the tracks (bass, pno, drums to my song folder, which rendered WAV files.
I pulled them into Cubase and they are all 120 BPM. At least they all line up, but I need a faster tempo. I can do the tempo change in Cubase, but I shouldn't have to. Every time one stretched the file, the sound quality goes down.

I did another try. The song was set at 135 in BIAB and BIAB playback was correct at 135. I dragged the tracks to my song folder to render WAVs. The bass and drums rendered at 90 and the piano rendered at 135.
This is impossible.
The only think I can think of that is at all irregular with this song is that I picked a style that defaulted to 140 and I replaced the bass with a patch that defaulted to 120. Surely that should render correctly. It plays correctly under BIAB.

What styles and RealTracks are you using? What are the beats per minute of the RealTracks.

I figured out what is happening. The last three bars of this file had tempo changes. I had originally made this song file 10 years ago, and I suppose that was to simulate a ritard before that was a parameter you could enter directly. So what is happening is that when you tell BIAB to render one file per track, the first track comes out right, but my last measure had a tempo override of 90 BPM. When rendering the subsequent tracks, BIAB is not resetting the tempo to the song tempo.
It is a bug, but an elusive one because it was tied to my tempo override. Obviously BIAB should always begin each rendered track at the song tempo unless the first measure has an override.
I'm almost positive this was correct in prior releases, but I can't easily go back to check.
