I ordered my disks earlier this week, but being the impatient person that I am I downloaded the upgrade only, and will wait for the rest to come by courier. So far VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!! Particularly the loading & freezing of Real Tracks.
But there's something I don't understand. The upgrade help says:
"Note that you need the installer that creates a Library\Holds folder in your RealTracks folder.
If there is an "n" this means that they are supported, but you don’t have the Holds_## files in the RealTracks\Library\Holds folder. The Holds files are a free upgrade, so you can download them from our web site pgmusic.com "
Where can I find the installer, and how do I create a library?

During the beta testing there was a separate download for this. However, for the regular program release, you may already have it. Check in the RealTracks folder and see if you have a folder for Library. Inside that is a folder for Holds, and inside that is a whole slew of Holds folders. See if you have it.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your response. There's no folder called "Library" within my RealTracks folder. I've done a search for both "Library" & "Holds" on my computer, & come up with nothing. Do you suppose the folder is included in the bonus' 10 Pak, which I haven't yet downloaded?

No, I don't. It is an integral part of the new 2010 version and and I would expect it to be part of the 'main' program. Whether it is still a separate install, I don't know. I haven't received my order yet.
To anyone who has just installed the shipping version of 2010:
Did you have a separate install for Holds?
Do you have a /RealTracks/Library/Holds folder?
When you order, do you get an email with a download link for Shots and Holds?

You must have missed it with your downloads. There were 2 very large files just below the BIAB, Real Band, and, in my case, 10-Pak, listed as holds and shots exe 1 and 2. I almost missed them in my excitement to get to the new RealTracks.

AAAhhh! Thanks Fred, As I mentioned earlier I only downloaded the upgrade.
At 800+Mb, I think I'll wait for the disks.

I can't find such library folder in my real track folder. I have the usb drive version. Is this somewhere else on the drive version?

Earl, just double-checking: did you first navigate to the BB folder on your USB hard drive? It is further down on the USB hard drives than it normally is found on a boot drive after install. If memory serves, I think it's under (drive letter):\PGMusic\programs\bb\realtracks\library\holds.
