I am updating my bb every year since at least 10 years, always in the same bb folder. Now, with bb 2021 #808 I am experiencing strange behaviour never seen before. May be my bb folder is in some way corrupted? How can I clean it up without loosing anything? Thank you i9n advance.
Please provide us with a little more detail of the issues you are experiencing.
A couple of years ago there was a change to some folder structures. The Cleanup Routine that was mentioned was designed to automatically move everything into the correct new locations.
Help > Utilities > Run Cleanup Routine.

In Notation Window, when I run the command" Insert Section Text Event", I get the following message:
Access violation at agìddress 0000000000A74FAA in module 'bbw64.exe'. Write of address 00000000000000129
PS: I have re-written the message because even the File Manager for this message doesn't work. I tried to attach a 25 kb *.ipg file and I got the message that it can't be attached because is larger than 5 Mb.
PS: I run the cleanup routine with no positive results.
Did you also get a message with an option to save / email the report to PG Music? If so, then you should send them the details of this error, as it is likely that there involvement will be required to assist you to resolve. I doubt that this error will be related to a folder cleanup function.

Andrew, I right-click with mouse in an empty part of the Notation window and than there is a menu window with a lot of possible commands, among them I choose the Insert Section Text Event. Yes, it happens with an empty song as well as with a *.mgu song.
