Just installed 2010 (deinstalled 2009 before). Loaded some Realstyles from the Style Picker menu. The drums are the only instrument that plays continuously. The Real Bass stops after 1-5 bars. After that the piano stops after a few more bars.
I tried with old and new sheet arrangement. Also on a blank sheet with only C-chord in.
I put everything back to factory settings. Same thing.
I assigned the Real Tracks and Real Drums to my F Drive. Everything as in 2009. BTW, I also reinstalled ALL the Read instruments plus the new ones. So nothing old, except for the VSC (that isn`t really playing in a setting of only RealInstruments)
What am I doing wrong here?

Not sure what the problem is Sandar. Though some others have it, and we are looking into it. For now, disable Prefs-RealTracks-Fast Generation of RealTracks, and the issue will go away (although RealTracks generation will be not sped up).
Something on your system regarding DXi or DirectX Audio, or Windows Media Player must be different, so please provide the following information:
Please confirm:
1. What O/S are you using? XP/Vista/Windows 7 32/64 bit?
2. You are using Roland VSC DXi, or Roland VSC VST? Try using VSC DXi.
3. Make sure that Prefs-Audio Settings Enable is set to true.

Thank you Peter,
I disabled the Fast Generation option for the realtracks and seems to work fine now.
FYI, my data:
XP SP2 32 bit, 4 GB Ram, AMD 5600 CPU
Roland VSC VST
RME Hammerfall Soundcard

I am not Sandra but here are my settings
1. windows xp sp3 32 bits
2.no soft synth ,I use a ketron sd2
3.did not find the setting "true"
as you said disabling: "Prefs-RealTracks-Fast Generation of RealTracks" solved the issue of missing instruments

Hi Sandra, Wilko, That issue *may* be just be a first-time-you-run-the-program (or first-time after a factory reset). Try re-running the program, so that no dialogs appear (like they do the first time). Then re-enable the fast generation of RealTracks and see if that works... Also, if you send me an email to beta@pgmusic.com (containing your email) , I can send you a link to a version to try.

I was a good girl and did was Peter told me and voila: Its now running ok even with the fast Generation of Real Tracks. So no new file is needed here.

Gladto hear that Sandra! Anyone else with the problem: - try quitting and rebooting BB (so that no dialogs appear at bootup), and then trying to play Realtracks again. (first enable-prefs-realtracks-Speedup generation of RealTracks if you've disabled that) Also, if you'd like to try a new version that (hopefully) fixes that issue in all cases, please email to beta@pgmusic.com, and I'll send you one right away.
