32bit Conductor midi keyboard control works first time only, A1/Bb1/B show message on screen and B with F3 will start song, B with G3 will pause song, B with F3 will not restart.
64bit Conductor midi keyboard control will not work at all, No screen message at all but A1 will turn off midi control checkbox in Conductor window.

My v2022 Build 914, 64 bit does not even respond to the A1 midi command. Zippo. If I bring up the Midi Monitor window, it shows response to my midi keyboard. But when I check the box to enable midi for the Conductor, the Monitor does not show any response to my midi keyboard. The Conductor could be a great tool for live performances, but it has several issues. For example, clicking on "Go back Part" takes you to the start of the part you're in (like Loop would). You can never actually get back to the previous part. BTW: I believe BIAB documentation and program are mistaken in their labeling of the octaves. The lowest note on an 88 key instrument is generally called A0 (midi #21) and the highest note is C8 (midi #108).  http://pissandmoan.com/misc/midi_piano_keynumbers.png

PG Music don't bother to fix some things, they just conveniently forget them.
Stylemaker can not play the programed lick in ALL keys. It gets confused going up a second from E to F and from B to C. HAS NEVER BEEN FIXED !!!!!!!!
And you are right, conductor was good MANY years ago, you could trigger start direct from the keyboard ------ NOT ANY MORE !!!
A bit like buying a car with 3 wheels "oh, you want 4 wheels"

I wonder if the Conductor has had any work done on it for the 2023 version?
(or if they ever plan to work on it)

It needs smooth transitions added when it changes from one section to the other. You can use the BBPlugin in Reaper and get smooth transition with smooth seek enabled. You can then use midi keyboard input to go to any section smoothly. You can even send midi chords and it will go to that section. Here's an example script you can try, a few navigation functions are added more functions can be added to do whatever you like. These are all triggered by Midi input. Install www.autohotkey.com then set C:\Program Files\AutoHotkey\AutoHotkey.exe to Run As Administrator by right click > Properties > Compatibility, if Biab is set to Run As Administrator. When you close the GUI it will be still running in the tray "H" right click to close. You can preset the defaults in the script. A simple menu select function to open/close Lyrics window with a Midi note: winactivate,ahk_class TBandWindow
