I'm a longtime BB user, just starting to use BB2021. I've entered a chord progression and am picking a style. When I try to audition a style with my progression, I get a notification that a required Real Track in Set 2019 is not found.(see jpegs 1 and 2). But when I go to Preferences to see what Track I have, BB tells me I DO have ALL the 2019 Real Tracks (see jpg3). Please help me understand why the track is not being found...

I get a similar message with some real tracks. My folder settings are correct.

Hi Ernie, Thank you for the graphics. They help such a lot when it comes to appreciating your problem. From the information you've given, BIAB is looking for Realtrack #3673 in the folder "O:\Band In A Box 2019\Realtracks". From this information, I'm guessing that you installed BIAB 2019 on your O-drive and in a folder called "Band In A Box 2019". Where did you install BIAB 2021? From the looks of your second graphic, it's in "O:\Band In A Box 2021". If you did install BIAB 2021 to "O:\Band In A Box 2021", the missing Realtrack is from BIAB 2021 and I'm guessing that it's in "O:\Band In A Box 2021\Realtracks" If this is the case, you need to set your Realtrack preferences to point to "O:\Band In A Box 2021\Realtracks". You can access the preferences settings via "Options | Preferences | Realtracks". Depending on the type of upgrade your purchased, it's possible that all Realtracks (including 2019) are in the 2021 folder. Just in case this is useful information... When I install BIAB, I always install my new version directly over the top of my existing version. This means that I get to keep all past bonus material from earlier versions and it always means that my preferences settings remain the same. Most users on here follow this installation process. I do the same as Noel. I always install new versions and updates into the same existing BiaB folder. In fact, this is the recommended method.

If you look closely at the report you posted, it clearly says these add-ons are NOT found. Just need to point BIAB at the right location as noted by Noel96.
My wife asked if I had seen the dog bowl. I told her I didn't even know he could.

I’m puzzled by those two messages, though, that some 2019 files are not found followed by the “you have everything” message.

Maybe it means he has it, as in owns it, but it can't find it as in not pointed to the proper drive location?

I've also often been confused with what appears to be conflicting messages from the 'What Add-Ons' function. Perhaps one test is for the existence of the folder and a separate test is for the existence of specific file(s) ?

The "What add-ons do I have" screen checks for a couple files from each RT set/Soloist/etc - it does not check EVERY file, hence why it's possible to be missing something yet still have the "WADIH" page tell you everything's there.
That particular Realtrack is in set 355 - perhaps it would be a good idea to reinstall that particular RT set, or at least see if there's a "Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm NewAgeDriving8ths Ev 110" folder in Realtracks, and that it has 44 files in it.
