I recorded this tune last year for the lockdown and decided to do it again but on the Tyros 5 Keyboard this time. Rose of Baltimore was composed for country singer BJ Young when her daughter was mown down by a drunk driver. Sadly she never fully recovered. 2nd box was recorded last year on my Scandalli accordion and the melody accordion & choir is from the tyros 5.

RealTracks in song: 2865:Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm CelticSlowWaltzDave Ev 100

Graham,
Lovely full rich tones on your accordion and the choir fits the sad mood.
Enjoyable music despite the painful source of inspiration.

hello Graham,
I hope the new year finds you doing well!

This is a lovely tune, in spite of the sombre topic... well conceived and performed. You have carved out a special niche for yourself here on the showcase! Is there anybody besides you posting accordion tunes? Thank you for adding to the musical variety available to us here on the showcase!

As always Graham, a subtle, yet expressive rendition of a classic melody.
You haven't failed to please me yet.

Cheers

Hiya Pat, so glad you enjoyed it. I honestly don't know if there's any others playing accordion on the showcase as you said. I've had a composers block lately and really need to get started again as I've a few folk waiting on tunes.

Hey old pal you knocked this one out of the park! Beautiful, just plain beautiful. Excellent work on the backing tracks, keyboard skills, mixing skills, and of course your outstanding accordion playing.

Keep them coming!
