I am sad to report that Cindy Fogle, wife of forum member Charlie Fogle, passed away today after an extended illness.

Oh Jim, I am so very sorry to hear that. I am praying for Charlie and his family that God will bring them comfort to get through this and when the terrible pain of loss subsides Cindy's memory will one day bring smiles instead of tears. God bless you Charlie and bring you peace.

So sorry to hear that sad news.
Please give my condolences to Charlie and extended family.
To Charlie I will just say this. I have been there, and it’s hard.
Its also hard to believe now but one day down the line suddenly you will look back and smile, trust me. Folks will tell you they know how you feel, but no one is the same, as you, and only you know.
Just stay safe and look after yourself.

thanks for the update Jim. I met Cindy once briefly when I visited Charlie a few years ago on my BIAB road trip. She was a lovely person. I hate that Charlie has to deal with the loss of his dear wife. Condolences to him and to you, Jim, as extended family.

Charlie was first out of the chute when I needed help for my wife, Joanne.
Our combined prayers and positive thoughts are with you in your hour of grief, Charlie.
Jesus, who had the power to resurrect, wept openly at the death of his friend Lazarus, so allow yourself ample time to mourn without regard for well-wishers prodding saying: "Get over it!". Mourning is a very personal and private matter of different length per individual. If you need to talk, you have my email address. I will offer scriptural encouragement.
