I'm working on a track, and added realtrack (#3094 Fiddle, AmericanaWaltzAndy). I can audition the fiddle in the Assign RealTracks To Track screen, and it plays perfectly. When I load it and regenerate, the track is silent....nothing played. It lists the correct track in the mixer, but it is dead silent. No mute buttons, freeze track buttons, etc. are selected....the track simply doesn't generate.
Anyone else encounter this?

Not having that problem.
Can you list the exact steps you are following? Then we can try to duplicate the problem — or better, see if one of us can just sus the issue.

Created a song from scratch, using the blank style. Loaded all the instruments I wanted. Tried to use the realtrack I mentioned (#3094), which shows up on the mixer as loaded. Generated the track. Everything else loaded & played. Dead silence on the fiddle track. I then did a rebuild, thinking that might be it. Same problem. Regenerated at least half a dozen times, and nothing. I then tried a different fiddle (#1107)on the same track (the soloist track in the mixer) and it worked perfectly. It seems the issue is specific to that particular realtrack. I should also mention that when I audition the #3094 realtrack in the selection screen, it plays perfectly....it's only when I load it into my session that it disappears.

Roger,
Try importing RealTrack # 3094 to a different track. I'm thinking there maybe an issue with the blank track.
If you start a new song file and use the default style, can you import RealTrack # 3904 onto an empty track?
Which of the four blank styles are you using? What other RealTrack instruments have you imported and onto what tracks?
When you look at Help > About what version and build number are displayed?
What steps are you following to audition RealTrack # 3904? If you're double clicking on the RealTrack name in the list, using the green play icon on the far left of the RealTracks Picker window or using the Song Demo (MGU) button then you're not hearing the RealTrack play. What you're hearing is a preview file.

Are you expecting an RT to follow MIDI? Real Tracks are recordings — they do not respond to MIDI. ]I want to assign a real violin to a MIDI track…

Not at all. I don't use midi in BIAB at all. Just trying to get it to generate.
It's the oddest thing. Any other instrument works fine on the track I was trying to use (the soloist track). I plugged the #3094 fiddle into a blank track in a new session and it works perfectly. But any track I try to put it in (in the SGU song I'm discussing), it won't play...just silence.
So what I did as a work-around was to recreate the chart in a new session file and generate the fiddle only...which got me the track I needed (I export everything and mix/edit/etc. in Logic). Not ideal but it worked. I still can't figure out why that particular realtrack won't generate in that particular song, but everything else would/will.

Just to further elaborate/clarify.
I started a song file from a blank style. Filled all 7 available tracks with realtracks (no midi). I had the fiddle in question (#3094) in the bottom track on the mixer (labeled soloist). Any other instrument I loaded in the soloist (7th) track worked perfectly. I tried putting #3094 in all the other tracks (except the designated drum track) and it wouldn't work in any of them. Again, only in this particular song. When I created a brand new session, it loaded, generated and played perfectly.
Like I said, it's the oddest thing.
