I get the impression that there's no support for it anymore, but it's still referenced in the manual ... For sure there is a feature in the style picker, however it doesn't provide the same possibility to input details as far as I can see.
The .ls3 file is no longer used. If you want to have a custom memo for a style, if it’s one of our styles, that isn’t possible. But if it’s a style that you made, you can customize the style and then customize the memo and long name if the style, as well as genre and feel assignments within the srylemaler from the misc-more- dialog. Do a slow rebuild to see your changes.
I have 104 of those lists in my own created directory that is located at E:\\bb\Data\Style Picker\User Categories\BBW LS3 Lists and they all show up when I go into style picker. I created them years ago.
To test the feature, I just made a new one up called (BBWADD105 - PGMUSIC Test File.txt) and added 5 styles to the list. I then did a full rebuild and the new ones show up in style picker just fine.
I see no indication that the feature no longer works. It may no longer be used but it still works so please don't take it out in future builds as I still use it and others probably do also.

I see where my confusion came in. Imagine being confused at 72 years old. Anyways, my confusion came in because all of my txt files were still in a directory that I MYSELF had named BBW LS3 Lists years ago. Because of that, I, for some reason, thought those were LS3 files.
I stand both corrected and updated.
When did LS3 go away again?

Don't know when they disappeared, but there are still files within bb-directory that describes how to use them, i.e. BBW.LST. Latest update of this file was in 2015, so possibly the year after it was obsolete.
