Hi all
Since using BiaB 2021 I've noticed that if I launch Sibelius while running BiaB (which I often do because notation is much easier in Sib), my sound from BiaB stops and I have to restart the program - this is all sound, not just MIDI.
If Sibelius is running first then both of them work fine, but I don't always know when I'm going to need it so I generally don't have it open first (& I'd rather not have both of them running concurrently unless necessary).
This wasn't an issue with previous versions with BiaB, so I'm guessing the problem lies there rather than with Sibelius.
I've tried hitting the "panic" button, but it doesn't seem to help unfortunately.

What are selecting as your audio driver? If both the Sibelius and Band-in-a-Box have the same audio driver selected, chances are really good that won't work. Try setting one program to ASIO and the other to MME.
If it helps the only time it's better to use ASIO is when you're recording. Hardware manufacturers typically provide hardware specific audio drivers to reduce latency (how long it takes to process sound) while recording.

Yes, try MME for BIAB.
If you still want to use ASIO, there is a checkbox that says something like Allow BIAB to have exclusive use. I'll see if I can find that.
EDIT: In the ASIO Audio Driver window, the checkbox says ASIO always on. Try unchecking that if it's checked.
