Hi Everyone,
Everything was working fine with BIAB. I minimized it and opened Real Band and played some songs. I then reopened BIAB & the sound disappeared. I checked the ASIO drivers and sound card. Cannot figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
It sounds as if realband has not released the sound driver.
Asio normally can not support more than one app at a time.
Did you just minimise RB instead of fully close.
Switching pc of and on should clear.
If this was the cause set RB and Biab to different drivers if you do want to run them both at the same time.
Just my thoughts

If RB stole the ASIO then BIAB will go silent. Here is one idea,
1) Set BIAB to MME and RB to ASIO.
Or close all and then open BIAB - set to Return to Factory settings if needed and start over again. Don't share ASIO

Hi Larry, what version of Band-in-a-Box are you running? And what is your build number? You can check under Help | About Band-in-a-Box. This window would show your Version year and the number in brackets is your build. This info will help us do relevant testing.

Works perfect! Glad you're up and running! For other users who come across this, MME and ASIO combination tend to work well, though depending on your computer hardware WAS and ASIO may work better, and for others any use of ASIO will knock out every other app. This is dependent on the audio driver - for example, my Focusrite ASIO driver (for a Scarlett 2i2 version 3) allows ASIO in multiple apps, or any combination of ASIO, MME, or WAS, but my Avid Mbox2 needs MME to work concurrently with ASIO in another app.
