Hallo Kann man real band updaten - habe BIAB 2016, enthält aber nur real band 2015- auf die neueste Version, ohne dass man BIAB auch updaten muss? Die patches (2015 update) von PG.music im Netz funktionieren (bei mir) nicht- "erfordert höhere Rechte" oder so...... Ich frage mich natürlich, lohnt sich ein update, wenn es "kostet", bislang bin ich nicht besonders begeistert von beiden Programmen...habe allerdings auch lang nichts mehr damit gemacht und jetzt wieder angefangen. Aktuell will ich meine midifiles mit realband "pimpen", klingt -noch- nicht zufriedenstellend. Ist aber auch schwer, jeweils den geeigneten style zu finden. Die hören sich in der "Vorschau" oft gut passend an, in der Umsetzung aber bislang sehr "gewöhnungsbedürftig". Die gerenderten Drums bspw. haben keinen "Durchschlag"...kann nat. auch an den midifiles liegen....?
Hallo Sac. RealBand ist immer Bestandteil von Band in a Box – und immer auch mit dem gleichen Releasestand (Jahreszahl). Sonderbar, warum das bei dir anders ist (beim BiaB 2016 war jedenfalls kein RB 2015 dabei). Es gibt meines Wissens kein Einzel-Update nur von RealBand. Kontaktiere ggf. mal den deutschen Distributor m3c.de, vielleicht können die dir weiterhelfen.

Danke für die Antwort. Musste gerade feststellen, dass das Programm seit heute gar nicht mehr startet. Ich bekomme die Meldung, dass ich eine neuere DLL RBSEQ32 nutzen würde..die mit "dieser Version von RB" nicht kompatibel sei. Hat sich wohl BIAB im Hintergrund selbst upgedatet??? Das Programm BIAB habe ich auf Festplatte!!!RB bislang nie genutzt..und auch BIAB die letzte Zeit nicht. RB zeigt "version 2015 (7)
Dann wäre mein Vorschlag, dass du dir aus dem Supportbereich dieser Webseite mal das letzte Update von Realband 2015 ziehst, es ist das Release 2015 (8) Möglicherweise behebt das zumindest die evtl. fehlerhafte Installation. Band in a Box macht keine selbständigen Updates im Hintergrund. Hast du denn noch Unterlagen von deinem Kauf, dann bekommst du sicher über den Support eine RealBand Version 2016 ? Oder ist das Programm irgendwie anders ;-) auf deine Festplatte gekommen?

Hahaha, das Programm ist die Festplattenversion....eine separate Festplatte- hab ich genau so geschrieben. Nicht "auf meiner Festplatte" und es ist bei PG music angemeldet. Wie es kommt, dass seit heute die DLL neuer ist, kann ich nicht erklären, ist mglw. eine dll. die von Microsoft stammt und ab und an eine neuere Version rauskommt, wobei ich eigentlich keine Installationen unbeaufsichtigt zulasse, aber dll.s sind fies, die "schwimmen" im Strom mit.
Martin Das war nicht die Frage. Real band wird sich lediglich auf 2015(8) updaten- wie mir inzw. klar ist. Die Frage ging danach, ob man RB auf die neueste Version updaten kann, ohne ein neues BIAB 2021 kaufen/updaten zu müssen. Ich hab ja die Pro version, die ist nochmal teurer und - als user der ersten Stunde- hat sich das Programm nie analog zu den Kosten verbessert- trifft auf viele Progs zu, keine Frage- und irgendwann ist die Luft raus!! Es macht Spass, zweifellos- gerade jetzt, wo alles gelockt ist, doppelt-aber die Kosten stehen nicht in Relation zum Ergebnis, wenn man aufs Geld schauen muss, zweimal nicht. Und nach der "Wiederinstallation" steht erst mal die Registrierung bei PG wieder an, weil der "Zähler" runtergesetzt werden muss- die Festplatte hat glaub ich 3 Installationen frei, wenn ich jetzt auf Win 10 update, brauch ich ebenfalls eine neue Installation, die dann mühséelig wieder bei PG "belegt" werden muss,m dass die 3 erhalten bleiben. Dann muss ich Komplete wieder installieren- Festplatte, aber die meisten Dateien übers Netz-, ein paar dll.s etc. werden dann wieder nicht passen, etc., ggfs. wird ein neues Midi fällig usw. Das zieht einen Rattenschwanz hinter sich her, den ich ehrlich gesagt aktuell scheue. Ich muss heute konstatieren, dass die Technik die Kreativität -bei mir- gelähmt hat. Liegt vllt. auch daran, dass ich kein Comp. Crack bin, hätte damals "peaken und poken" lernen sollen, ja....klar! Hab halt auf die falschen Pferde gesetzt- Atari statt Commodore, Apple statt Dos/Win...hätte nie gedacht, dass Dos/später Win, Atari und Apple verdrängt. Wer so alt ist wie ich, wird das nachvollziehen können.

BiaB 2016 installiert Realband 2016. Falls Realband 2015 installiert wird, ist die BiaB Installations-HD korrumpiert, oder irgendetwas ist nicht so, wie es sein sollte.
Immer diese Absolutismen. Nein, es ist, wie ich schreibe.... ich könnte jetzt hier auch ein Foto der Festplatte von PG veröffentlichen und die serial dazu.... Mglw. ist es eine frühe Version von 2016, die noch das 2015 RB enthält und PG will dies nicht zugeben oder "ihr" ??? seid hier undercover und unterstellt mal gern.....das ist jedenfalls nich "seriös"... (mir fallen das grad die Autohersteller dazu ein. Wer ein Ersatzteil braucht, hat oft Schwierigkeiten, weil die Hersteller nicht "immer" das verbaut haben, was sie eigentlich sollten, wenn das Lager leer war, wurde halt was Anderes verbaut)

Dies indiziert die Unterstellung einer strafbaren Handlung...ich "kann sowas inzwischen ab", es ist aber nicht fair, mich für Fehler des Softwarentwicklers als "hacker" darzustellen. Wenn ihr selbst nicht wisst, was "eine Festplattenversion" ist, dann besser nichts sagen... b. t. w. der "support" von 3M antwortet nicht.....und jetzt bin ich der "Böse".....oder mit Grachmusikow: "Oiner isch emmer dr Arsch"......
Es ist bemerkenswert, wie einige eigentlich Unterstützung Suchende jegliche gut gemeinten Hinweise und Tipps negieren und in eigenartiger Troll-Manier sich unnötig jeglicher Sympathie berauben.
Ich habe anlässlich sacs letztem eigenartigen Post eine BiaB 2016 Installations HD aus meinem Archiv geholt und quergecheckt -> es ist Realband 2016 darauf . . .
Daher nochmal -> wenn etwas nicht so ist, wie es sein sollte, ist der Support der geeignete Ansprechpartner. Wenn M3C nicht reagiert, was spricht denn dagegen, schlicht auch mal bei PG Music nachzufragen . . .
Obwohl ich nunmehr ungerne auf den OP antworte, schlage ich vor, dass der OP einmal eine Search Engine verwendet, um sein -> anderes Problem zu lösen.
Ach was, jetzt kommt der "Trollvorwurf", zuerst ist man ein "Hacker", dann ein Troll und dies zu bemerken ist halt "unsympathisch". In der 3. Person zu agieren, ist hingegen "korrekt"?
Die "Hinweise" sind nicht zutreffend, lediglich dies habe ich konstatiert, die dll. habe ich gar nicht installiert, damit auch nicht in einen falschen Ordner, das war eben plötzlich da. Wenn auf deiner HD 2016 drauf ist, ist das doch super, mein RB zeigt 2015 an, warum, weiss allein der Hersteller und eben auch, dass es so sein "sollte". Er wird einen Teufel tun und mir ein RB 2016 senden, sondern konstatieren, das sei nunmal so, es sei wohl ein "Frühes 2016". Wenn du jeden Jahrgang im "Archiv" hast, kann dies nur Eines bedeuten.......

Hallo Sac. "undercover", da musste ich schon wirklich sehr breit schmunzeln. Tut mir leid, wenn ich meine Tipps und Ratschläge – und nur das war es, was ich dir geben wollte, so unglücklich formuliert habe, dass du dich angegriffen fühltest. Das war nicht meine Absicht, und so etwas ist hier im Forum auch überhaupt nicht üblich. Ich bin auch nicht von PG Music – die Leute dort im Support sind übrigens wirklich sehr nett und hilfreich – wie auch die meisten Mitglieder hier in den PG-Foren, was kein Wunder ist, sie sind zumeist Musiker und böse Menschen kennen keine Lieder. Nichts für ungut also, richte gern auch weiter deine Fragen hier im Forum an andere Band-in-a-Box-User (wie mich oder Martin, wir sind beide keine Admins, sondern arbeiten schon recht lange mit Band in a Box und geben unsere mehr oder weniger guten und teils auch betrüblichen Erfahrungen mit dem Programm gern weiter). Ein Tipp: es hilft mir immer, beim Verfassen eines Posts zu lächeln. Ich bin mir sicher, es werden dann auch stets freundliche und hilfreiche Antworten aus dem Wald heraus schallen :-) Noch mal zu deinen Fragen: Hast du schon im Downloadbereich deines Nutzerkontos nachgesehen, dort müsstest du eigentlich alle von dir registrierten Programmversionen zurück bis 2014 auch als Download finden – ich weiß allerdings nicht, ob das auch für HD-Versionen gilt, die nicht direkt über den PGMusic-Webshop bestellt wurden. Ansonsten wirklich noch mal bei m3c nachhaken oder einfach eine Mail an support@pgmusic.com. Die helfen dir ziemlich sicher weiter.
Und ja, das Update auf die aktuellste Version von Band in a Box (dann auch iunkl des aktuellsten RealBand) lohnt sich durchaus – jedenfalls nach meiner Ansicht – besonders, wenn man dazu die 50%-Rabattaktionen bei der Einführung von neuen Programmversionen nutzt. Die gelten in der Regel über einige Wochen/Monate kurz vor bzw. rund um das Jahresende hier im PGMusic-Onlineshop und dann meistens nochmal bei m3c für die deutsche Version im Frühjahr des Folgejahres. Und nein, auch mit m3c habe ich nichts zu tun – aber auch hier kann ich dir bestätigen: der Geschäftsführer Johannes Biglmaier ist kompetent, freundlich und hilfbereit. Also probiers mal.

Wunder geschehen....... Bei Aufruf von BIAB heute ist in meinem "Programm" ein "update"....merkwürdig, ich soll doch tatsächlich das update (2016 build 438) direkt in BIAB machen. Hätte doch eigentlich schon seit "Jahren" diese Meldung erhalten müssen....und da muss man sich vorhalten lassen... "wie das Programm doch auf die Festplatte gekommen sei"......wenn das Programm permanent online überwacht wird und sogar Forumsposts damit verknüpft scheinen..ein Schelm, wer sowas denkt
Es ist ja gut, wenn jetzt bei dir alles läuft, wie es soll und ich denke, wir sollten an dieser Stelle den Thread schließen. Setze mal etwas mehr Vertrauen in deine Mitmenschen, auch online. Auch wenn Verschwörungsgeschwurbel ja sehr im Trend liegt: Hier ist nichts undercover.

Verschwörungstheorien......davon war nicht die Rede. Es ist nur merkwürdig, wie in meinen Programmaufruf ein "update", das nur innerhalb des Programms getätigt werden kann, gelangt. D.h. es muss "eingeschleust" worden sein.
Bis jetzt hast du es nicht fertig gebracht, Grösse zu zeigen und dich für die unsägliche "Andeutung/Vermutung" zu entschuldigen. Statt dessen versuchst du nachzulegen...Verschwörungstheorie.... Das nennt sich üble Nachrede.....
Gern kannst du erklären, wie ein "update" innerhalb eines Programms gelangt.......d. h. das Programm muss bei Aufruf übers Netz gescannt werden, um das update innerhalb des Programms wirksam werden zu lassen....oder will jemand behaupten, alle User hätten dieses "nicht gerade als aktuell zu bezeichnende" Update erhalten?
Und nein, bislang "läuft nichts, wie es soll".....das update ist m. E. sehr marginal ausgefallen.RB habe ich bis jetzt nicht wieder ausprobiert.
Ob hier "Moderatoren" oder "Ehrenamtliche" tätig sind, macht keinen Unterschied.Beleidigungen sind in jedem Fall dem Forum als auch der Sache abträglich, egal, ob PG oder M3C das Forum betreut, sie tun sich mit solchen Leuten keinen Gefallen. Vielleicht hilft ein Blick ins US Forum, dort gibt es nur "great...", egal welchen Mist jemand gepostet hat....ist jetzt auch nicht unbedingt mein Ding, aber unsägliche Anschuldigungen wird dort kaum jemand machen.

Fakt: wenn ich das Programm öffne und es erscheint innerhalb des Programms die Meldung, ein update 2016 sei verfügbar....was ja schon seit etl. Jahren der Fall sein muss.... dann ist das, da bislang nicht aufgetaucht, von aussen "eingeschleust"- egal, wie man dies nennen mag, es ist nicht zufällig 2021 vom "Himmel gefallen". The Xtra Styles require the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition of Band-in-a-Box®. (Xtra Styles PAK 19 requires the 2025 or higher UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition. They will not work with the Pro or MegaPAK version as they require the RealTracks included in the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition.
