The orchestral film/media sample library specialist Spitfire came out a few years ago with a range of Orchestra libraries - at different price levels from free to near $1k.
One of the stated intentions of the makers has been to make this a kind of common-denominator standard for teachers students of composition, orchestration and composers to be able to exchange compositions in a format the the widest numbers of composers/students will have access to.
Now this isnt based on general midi of course and uses its own mappings of CC and note values for all the different articulations a composer typically uses today -
But heres' the thing. This product doesn't come with "ensemble" patches - but instead as in the real classical/arrangement world - all the different instrument sections are split out as separate instruments ( or plugin instances ) and tracks.
It would be great to have patterns and styles put together in MIDI that worked specifically with BBC SO - and maybe PG could even do a promotional deal with Spitfire to include BBC SO DISCOVER EDITION etc - so the "lite" version is included with BIAB - or in a special separately sold style pack.
There are Kontakt libraries like ACTION STRINGS and EMOTIVE STRINGS where real motifs and patterns - rhythmic, legato. etc - are provided to be playable for speedy workflow - these use actual recorded motifs but with a good string library like BBC SO - one could achieve very close results with careful use of MIDI and articulation changes and use of CC values.
Being able to craft up cinematic type "cues"with one's own chord changes- in BIAB would - I think with all the recent work and changes with the BIAB plugin - with separate MIDI outputs for example be very desirable. It would make the combination of BIAB styles targeting BBC SO directly an extremely handy tool fro inspiration, professional composer productivity under huge time restraints or budgets - and also just for inspiration.

Having created such MIDI style collections for the Spitfire BBC SO library collection it wouldn't be too hard from then on to repurpose these MIDI sryles - making adaptations of the styles with changes to articulation settings, velocity values, CC etc - to then repurpose this MIDI content to apply specifically also to the other "BIG" and commonly used pro movie/media composer orchestra libraries - like EAST WEST, Berlin etc etc..
A summer job for media composition student/grad "interns" for example. !

These are the sorts of things that will make the BIAB plugin begin slowly - in baby steps to be found in more and more "pro" media composer and "producer" suites and setups.
Because of course the PLUGIN does the work of BIAB in the DAW - so important for any composer.
Of course I'd bet on Performer and Cubase are the highest used DAWs for this kind of orchestral work... with Logic being third.

There is already another product - UNIFY - ( very different and not in the same market as BIAB ) which has a special edition with tons of presets specifically for the BBC SO range - that makes getting ideas out of the ( otherwise non-trivial to use ) library a joy - see here! https://www.pluginguru.com/products/discoverstation-corestation-unify-bbcso/

I have the Spitfire Studio Orchestra. A seamless connection to BIAB, using the plugin or not, my DAW (Studio One) or not, would be amazing.
