Would someone please confirm if they are able to create a "Performance Track" from a midi melody track which works on BIAB 2021 MAC. It only seems to create a file header, correctly named in the folder but nothing is imported. In fact the file (very small) cannot be imported as an audio track. I note that I can do it the "long way" by exporting the track to which ever format I wish, then importing it as audio. However, to make a performance track does not seem to render anything to usable audio. Just want to check if it's just me or others have the same issue. Thanks

Hello, we had just checked importing an Artist Performance Set audio file by going to File | Import | Import Audio, and it appears to be working. We also tried opening one of the example song files in the Artist Performance Sets folder, and that played as well. What build do you have installed? You can check under Help | About Band-in-a-Box, and it is the number in brackets after the version 2021. The latest build is currently 504, please download and install it from here and let us know if the problem persists: https://www.pgmusic.com/support_macintoshupdates.htm#2021_504After installing, please open your Style Picker and click the rebuild button. PS: Are you instead referring to copy/pasting the waveform from one track to the other in the Audio Edit window?

Yes, using 504 you just can't create one with the track Action function as described below:
Using one of PG's songs from Applications/Band in a box\songs called "Nitelife"
Ctrl + Click on track in this case named Organ
Track Actions
Save track as performance file (aiff/mp4)
This then mutes all tracks on the mixer then renames the track to “Artist” (Track turns Orange) however is silent as there is No Audio on the track in the Audio View.
However, it also saves the BIAB MGU (without asking) in this state WITHOUT adjusting the file date??
And Yes, I can export any track as aiff or mp4 and "IMPORT" it as an artist track. However, when you used the feature as it is supposed to work (listed above)
the track created by that method is 54bytes an exported file which you can import is a few Mb's
I have repeated this on two of PG's songs and several of my own.

Yes, this does appear to be a bug in the Mac version. We'll report it to the developers and it should be fixed soon in a future build release.
