Since everyone seems to be enjoying my Band-in-a-Box quiz, I thought I would post the other quiz I made over the weekend.

Take this two minute fun quiz to find out if you are a noodler, an experimentalist, a copycat or a performer.

That was a fun test with some very tricky questions.

According to the test I am a performer!

My wife had her driving test today.
She got 8 out of 10.
The other 2 jumped out of the way!

Definitely performer.

But I knew that before I took the quiz (enjoyed it anyway).

Guitar is my 7th instrument, sax is my primary instrument and drums were my first instrument.

I'm decent at the guitar, but starting later in life, I don't think I'm ever going to be as good as Jeff Beck or probably even dozens of players on this forum, but I can hold my own with the best on sax/wind synthesizer.

I am lucky to be able to gig for a living.

The Noodler - that sounds about right.

I look at things like that as nothing more than silliness. Those options that for some reason included a Bob Dylan song were ridiculous. If someone says "Hey don't you play guitar" to me at a party or campfire I just say "I used to."

I ended up as Copycat .. I doubt most people who have any experience working with me would agree, so I have that going for me, which is nice smile
Still fun to take the quiz

/maybe it'll sink in later and I'll learn something about myself (shrug)

I use to play guitar...lets see..about 11:00 last night. Quit playing for a whole day.

Actually I got up at the crack of noon and played piano today. I have a stuffed rabbet I like to play and sing for. Bunny always thinks I sing very well. I been thinking about getting Bunny a hearing aid.

Anyone who will wear a pink suit in public has to be a performer...lol

Fun test!

That was fun in a perverse way, since I don’t play guitar and only spent a few hours trying with my Mel Bay book at age 10.

I’m rated a Copycat.

That’s truly funny, because as a jazz composer and soloist, I’m the opposite. I’ve never even used the Soloist function in BIAB - people hire me for that. But if someone needed me to play guitar (poor them!) then I would absolutely be a Copycat.

I was unable to answer most of the questions because those provided didn't apply. i picked at random and then, I think, I was asked for my email address so opted out. Seriously, most of the answers did not apply to me...that must mean I'm not a guitar player - most folk would agree.

Cheers

When you are prompted for an email, visit 10 Minute Email and it will give you an email that exists long enough (10 minutes) for a site to send you "that" email asking you to confirm your email address and then goes poof. Thus you don't have to get annoying "list" emails.

Hi guys

I am certainly learning a lot about making a quiz smile. Thanks to all for the input.

I am working on a "music trivia" one that will involve a "prize". I think I will post it here so you guys can rip it apart before posting it anywhere else. smile

The form to collect email addresses from this quiz now says:
"Submit your email if you would like to receive emails on how you can improve your guitar playing on Playiit.com
