I have tried everything, including starting over again to try and get this to work.
If I try to place a DC al Coda at the penultimate bar (which is bar 64) I get the message, "There are conflicts with other repeats." If I turn off generate measures, I get a second message, "The repeated areas do not match."
I have two, first and second ending sections (1-16 and 33-48), neither of which would have the redirect to the coda (which is the ending measure). The redirect to the end/coda (the end is the coda) is after measure 32.
I cannot do the DC al Coda, whether I have the whole song set to play once or twice.
Welcome to the forums RicM! In your post you mention that there is a second ending in measures 33-48 and you are trying to place a redirect to the Coda after measure 32. This overlap could be what is causing the error message.

Actually, it gives me the error before I specify the parameters AND, no matter what parameters I give it, the same error(s) persist. I'll look into sending it to you. Don't know about freezing and such.

Welcome to the forums. One way to Freeze Tracks (means they wont regenerate) is like this:

Are you using the Repeats ending function? If so you should first turn off the BIAB repeats by changing number of choruses to 1 and setting the number of bars to say 200 (we can fix the number later.
Then build your song in a linear fashion. Bar 1 to the end including any repeats and DS or DC functions. If you do this you won't need to insert or generate bars. When you play it, it should sound the way you expect.
Now you should be able to put the DC in place correctly.
You need to take a look at the repeat list. It's in the repeat dialog at the bottom. Click the 'Edit List' and you can see the formulae for your endings etc. They need to be in the right order. You can reorder them if they're wrong.
I just think of them as print functions. the functions never change anything in your music - they just make fake sheets.
It's not intuitive, but I have hundreds of pieces of music with endings, repeats and ds and dc.
