Is there a notation window in the BIAB Plugin. I would like to see the music when using the VST Plugin.

There is no notation window in the BIAB-VST that I am aware of. However, considering you are always a simple drag and drop of any track into your DAW, not sure why you would need it in the VST. The midi associated with every track is readily available to view in the DAW. Reaper has a nice notation window.

Yeah I can see that but hey ya never know. I don’t think the plugin was made to replace the main program or to function as a mini DAW in the DAW. It was to add tracks to the DAW. Most DAW software has some kind of notation, some have really good ones. To my thinking I can see the need to process individual notes in the plugin. Those things are best done in the DAW. Just thinking here.

What do you mean by notation window?

Showing the music notes for each Instrument. The plug in syncs the chord progression but not the music notation.

Thanks for the feedback jimmitch! Adding a notation window to the plugin is a big undertaking and as mentioned, most DAW's offer a midi notation window so you could easily drag the midi file into your DAW to view the notes. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response Adar the midi does work. I think I started using BIAD from 2006 so many great updates. Hopefully a notation window in plugin or BIAB syncing in the DAW. No need to edit the notes just to follow the part as I play along.
