Has anyone else experienced this? I tried a few tunes where applying a different style killed the melody and soloist tracks upon playing. I've been doing this for years, but never saw this anomaly. Thoughts?
Wish I had an answer for you. But, yes a couple weeks back I saw this new behavior. Styles when loaded replaced the contents of all tracks. Even if you had a midi on the melody track. We chatted here in the forum about this but I don't recall what the conclusion was or if there even was a conclusion. Will have to keep a better eye on this.
Another problem I think is that the Melody/Soloist tracks cannot be frozen from the Mixer 'snowflake' button. But they can be frozen from the Tracks > Freeze item. This has been reported.

OK, I just tried with an earlier version from 2021 with the exact same BiaB song file, and changing styles definitely did NOT erase the Melodist track MIDI data.
