I've got this scar, don't need a tattoo...

Great line!

Good and crunchy! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Wow, simple but very effective. Don't need no tattoo. Great concept. Well done.

Gentlemen ...

David summed this up quite nicely. I like that driving bass line. And the piano fill is just right. Enjoyed it a bunch. Nicely done!

Take care ...

Alan

Scars are so much more personal and meaningful. I particularly like the piano --very tasteful. Good song and well produced.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thank you , and the scar is true. I have one on my forearm, about an inch long very visible. Eventually if I was around someone long enough they would ask what happened. I was 7, my grandmother was mowing her yard with a push mower , it threw a rock and hit my arm. I’ve never been shot ,but, I would imagine it was pretty similar, the pain was intense, couldn’t make a fist for a long time, no doctor, no stitches, just a good scar. When I was in the navy guys were getting tattooed regular , I felt I had the scar, that was enough for me, never had a tattoo. Ha the rest of the song, Good day.

Very cool tune. Loved the backtrack and groove on this tune. Vocal and guitar was superb.

Excellent song & performance BUT the mix is VERY crisp...the 1st notes almost sheared my ears off.
That 1st sung syllable at 2.5kHz and is about 10dB above the rest of the song.
The crispness is the result of the main, backing vocals, piano and cymbals all stacking up above 1.5kHz....it's pretty full on pretty constantly in the region above that mark.
Here's a snap shot of the mix at 2.14...
It also looks brick walled as a wav form.
I did this to it...

and it sounded really cool and not painful.

Hey Cliff and Corey,

the first thing that cane to my mind was: Man, that sounds so dang 'live'! I could immediately picture a crowd in a club swaying their lighters (or phones..).

And you bet I'd be one of them !

Very strong, very impressive. Loved it a lot!

Take care,

Stefan

Nice write.
Something about this takes the familiar and spins it in a more interesting direction.

Well done.

Cliff and Corey,
I really enjoyed that.
For me it had a catchy
live at the club feeling
that sounds great.

Sounding mighty good!

I agree with Stefan. It sounds like a live performance.

Vocal and instrumentation sounds great. The energy is captured well in this performance.
