Do you want to add to the 2,000 audio loops PG Music provides? Do you want audio loops created from a variety of instruments? +++ Bandlab Sounds +++ is free (you do need to provide an email and password) and has more than 10,000 15,000 loop packages available for download. I've even found some lap and pedal steel loops, how cool is that?!

Wow! What an incredible resource!
Thanks, Jim!!!!
Only problem is...you could spend so much time listening to the available samples that you'd never get around to making any music...

Thanks Jim I have been using their loops for a while and they are great fun. I am just learning how to "assemble" and acidize them into a coherent musical stream. Because it is not biab related , I won't post a link, but if you are interested, I just posted my first loops creation called "House Warming" on SC. Merry Xmas to everyone. Gary.

Only problem is...you could spend so much time listening to the available samples that you'd never get around to making any music... DITTO! Ain't it the truth. This is why I rarely go into the loops unless I know what I'm wanting/needing. Heck, I might already have it, I have Cakewalk bandlab version. I keep telling myself I'm gonna learn it then I wind up back in Reaper cause I basically already know it. Thank you for sharing this Jim! Josie

I use the search feature to narrow down the choices to something specific I'm looking for at the time. Otherwise, it's like jumping down the rabbit hole.

Henry, I agree about BIAB and soul. That is really impressive. I've never done a whole song with loops. The thought makes my mind go on tilt. Lol! Would love to do one that sounds that good if I could. Love it.

Josie Josie, There's no doubt in my mind you can do this. Probably even better :-) Message me telling me what type of music you want to do and I'll look at some sample packs you can browse. You may be surprised !!

Henry that number of plays starts to enter monetizing territory. Have you gotten any income from the Spotify plays?

Henry, your vocals and vocal sound are tremendous on "You Make Me Feel So Good" and the integration and use of loops is really neat.

Henry that number of plays starts to enter monetizing territory. Have you gotten any income from the Spotify plays? I have received mechanical and publishing royalties from Spotify, iTunes, Applemusic, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, Pandora, Facebook, and YouTube, and BMI. The money is not significant so I leave it in my Tunecore account to keep building along with my other songs. I didn't intend to hijack this thread. I just wanted people to see what could be accomplished through the use of loops. If you were to view my Spotify profile 7 of my top 10 songs were created using strictly loops. All of my top songs on Pandora are loop based. I think a lot of BIAB users don't really understand the significance of using loops (like they don't understand the power of using Autotune) :-)
