Good Day,
My first attempt at importing MIDI. I wrote a piano arrangement in MuseScore 3 of the Beatles 'Yesterday' I exported the file in MIDI. I opened BIAB 2021, and filled in the chords from my arrangement and chose a style. I imported the MIDI file as Soloist, and it plays as was written in BIAB. My problem is when I press Play the Soloist track begins, but the Style does not start playing until the 3rd bar of the Soloist part, and the Style plays from Bar 1 of the chord sheet.(What a racket!) This happens with both MIDI Styles and Real Styles, and with the imported MIDI as Melody or Soloist. Any thoughts?

When you're importing MIDI there are a couple of entries on the import dialog:
"Number of bars to offset from start of MIDI File"
and
"Number of bars to insert at the beginning"
One of those should fix it. The second, I think, probably wants 2 in it, to push the MIDI past BiaB's count-in pars.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

Thanks Gordon. This makes sense to me. I did observe but did not mention that the drum track starts with the Soloist track which is the count in you mentioned. I will try what you suggest when I get home later.
