I don't actually know what your question is. Do you understand the particular chord, and exactly what it means?

I am asking how to enter. I know chords, but I don’t know how to enter them correctly. Because many people have their own way of writing. And there is no keyboard in BIAB, I don’t know if it is the same as I thought
Could you please tell BIAB official, add a black border keyboard here. thanks
You can also enter from the Chord Builder. But I think your lack of music theory is not assisting you.

Chord Builder does allow entry by just selecting the required parts of the chord. Right-click the Chord cell and select Chord Builder (or Ctrl-Shift-B)

With the help of SCALER, I have no problem finding chords. The problem is that every software is written differently, and I am afraid of typing errors.
If the chord build builder has a keyboard display, it will be more convenient
If the chord build builder has a keyboard display, it will be more convenient
But it does not, so you have to work with the tools you are provided with. That is what we do. If you learn music theory, you can then visualize the keyboard notes of a chord in your head.

If the question is, "How do I enter a B minor seventh, flatted fifth chord into BIAB?" the answer should be easy to find, even by just experimenting, but if necessary by consulting documentation.
If, however, the question is, "How do I enter a 'Bmin7(b5)' chord into BIAB?" that will be a brick wall, because BIAB will choke on the parentheses.
The secret to success and happiness here is recognizing that "Bmin7(b5)" is the name Scaler is using to refer to a particular chord, and figuring out how to enter that chord into BIAB.
But I hear the response coming, and it is, "I want a keyboard".

thanks~
The main reason is that the nomenclature of chords in each software is different. Especially the SCALER software The names are different, sometimes problems arise. It shouldn’t be difficult to put a keyboard in the chord builder, right?
With the keyboard, you can help more beginners like me. Experts certainly don't need it. But in order to help more people, there should still be a keyboard. After all, there are so many ordinary people like me.

Yes. Because I am strict. The same thing, multiple ways of writing, make me confused. If there is a keyboard, I can determine right and wrong. The keyboard contains 7, 2, 4, 6 So, no matter how to write, I know this is what I need.
I currently see three ways of writing Bm7-5 Bmin7(b5) Bm7b5
For someone who is not very smart like me, let’s give a keyboard on Chord builder.
B ∅ Bm7b5 Bm7♭5 Bm7-5 Bmin7(b5) B minor seven flat five B minor 7 flat 5 B minor 7th flat 5 B half diminished B half-diminished chord B half-diminished 7th Si half-diminished chord Si minor seven flat five And some more combinations...
The solution is, obviously, a keyboard for the chord builder
1: Do you press several keys and the program tells you what the chord is? Or 2: Do you enter the chord, and the keys show you what notes are used? or 3: You just want someone else to work out the answer and supply it to you?
If it's the first option, than you will get many different answers. Some confusing. If it's the second option, just learn music theory and you will know the answer already. It it's the third option, refer to the second answer.

rebuilt styles, songs and real tracks. win 10...amd a10 radeon r6 4c+6g 1.8ghz 64 bit hp envy biab 2023 with 1004 build. styles 1 to 429 plus extras 1,2,3,4 and 6. running as admin, cleaned up returned to factory settings.
If you know the notes and want to enter them using an external keyboard, BIAB already has this. It’s in the Windows menu, MIDI Chord Detection.
And BIAB has a shortcut key, h, for a minor seven flat five chord. Type Bh
And the Chord Builder can show you the correct way to enter a chord in BIAB. VideoTrack showed this above. As you have discovered, there is not complete standardization of chord notation and you just need to learn and adapt to how each program does it. It’s not that any individual music program is right or wrong; it’s just the reality of the situation.
To everyone else, the OP is correct in his understanding and he asked a perfectly reasonable question.
