Load the music file with melody. Select bar x (right click) Choose bar setting-> change melody volume to -60% Play the file, there's no volume effected on the selected bar
A couple of thoughts that could cause this to happen...
1) Did you regenerate the file after making the changes? YOu may need to unfreeze (if it's frozen) the track for the regeneration to work properly.
2) Have you saved the file to an audio file? When you play the song, and audio file will automatically load and play on the Audio track so you might not hear what's happening with the underlying song file (which will play along with the audio).
