I loved this video and immediately passed the info on to my music friends both here and in Nashville.
I did notice that some of the audio clips are silent. Wondering if that was because they could not get permission to use them.

I have been lucky, never had a girlfriend named Thelma.
I find it pretty amazing that I hear Blue Yodel No. 3 played by someone on radio or TV pretty often.

Bob, I appreciate you posting this link. The video was a lot of fun to watch. Did anyone notice the Austin, TX street musician toss his electric guitar up in the air, the guitar was spinning around and he still caught it. Eddie, The actress, Betty Lynn, that played Thelma Lou on the Andy Griffith television show retired to Andy's home town of Mount Airy, N.C. She died at age 95 in October, 2021. Her estate was auctioned off last December. +++ HERE +++ is an interesting article about both he and the auction.

Jim, I know that for years she was there at the Mayberry section of Mt Airy signing autographs. By accounts she was quite a gracious lady and greeted every fan with warm appreciation. One thing I wanted to do on my next trip south was visit Mayberry on my way home. But now I can't meet Thelma Lou.
