I have loaded a style however I want to use a different drum track...I selected the drum track I want, however the drums (even though the new drum RT is loaded into the mixer window), still plays the drums that were used in the style.
Is there a way to override this?

Just to confirm that I have come across this occasionally.
The latest was with style _FALTER.STY. I didn't want to waste time investigating, so I muted the drums and loaded what I wanted into Utility tracks.
I have also occasionally come across the same with some instruments, I suspect they have been baked in somehow when the style was created.

Hi Joden, does clicking the generate and play button help with this? if you let us know the version of Band-in-a-Box you are using and the Style you had chosen, we would be happy to help with this.

No, it made no difference....style chosen is _VACATE.STY and the alternate drums are AmericanaSlow128Fred and when I looked at the Real Drums Picker there are no tambourines in the RD's. The drums in the factory style are a "multi" I think... BIAB is 2022

I experience the same as you. It definitely seems to be related to multi drums.
I've reported it to the developers.

fwiw I think I maybe found a workaround...right click the drums tab at the top, select multi-drums which has a breakout arrow, hover over that then select Edit Multi drums. Then turn off the active parts by selecting the three dots and selecting empty for each part. Then go back to song and load the drum kit you want....seems to work.
