I recently got a new computer; loaded everything back on it. I"m having issues; I created a medley of two songs. I change the tempo and style at the correct spot but when I save it changes all the chords to "hold all instruments" so ... no sound. I went in and changed by hand and it works for a while and then when I do something like changing the tempo, go back to the chord sheet ... and holds. I'm stumped.
OK, that would create a whole lot of silence. If Return to Factory Settings does not help, can you upload the file here so one of us can see it close up?

No rest, rest only, shot, hold chord of chord setting, I am also a little confused If you can have a demo, or after each setting, you can click play in CHORD SETTING to hear whether the effect is what you want in advance.
Try opening the song in Realband. If it opens fine, save it as MGU/SGU with a slightly different name and then see if this newly named song opens properly in BIAB.
I did experience something similar in BIAB2021. Occasionally after a regeneration of a complete song, *all* chords were angry red rests.
This seemed to happen only when I had tricked BIAB into handling eights, by setting the tempo to double the intended, and then set all/most realtracks to half tempo.
I got the impression that the file had become corrupted.
This error hasn't happened now with BIAB2022. Yet ...
