I have completed an SGU that started as a BLANK style and got saved IN THE PC as a USER style. 'IANSWLTZ'. How do I find it in my PC and then copy and paste it into my Win7 do I can use it there? All info appreciated. Bests Ian

BIAB has a tool for this you can try.
File | Save Special | email song file(s) as attachments
BIAB will find all of the files related to the SGU file including bt1, stx and other files.

Hi Charlie I tried that. First I got a message about setting emails in DEFAULT PROGRAMS. I cant see anywhere where that is in BB. How do I set it? Can you advise please? I'm using GMAIL if that is any help. Second time I just got an orange error message saying "Error when trying to send email.Error number is 2". That figures because its got fed up with me now. lol. You have to set up a default email program in Windows. If you use Gmail and get your mail through your browser, then I don't think BIAB can use that. It is looking for an application like Outlook, or Windows Mail or Thunderbird or whatever program you choose to view your email. I have never done this but I think you can just copy the .sty file and you should be fine, but like I say I don't really know for sure.
My wife asked if I had seen the dog bowl. I told her I didn't even know he could.
1. Copy the song file, be it SGU or MGU or whatever to a thumb drive.
2. Copy the Style file (somthing.sty) and copy the STX file (should be the same name as the style file) to a thumb drive.
That will either give you 2 or 3 files, (1) the song file, (2) the style file and (3) the extended style file, it that exists.
3. Then copy the song file to the new computer where ever you want it to be. When you copy the STY and the STX file(s), if it exists, make sure those go into the styles directory on the other computer.
That would only apply for a new user style that you created. If you have BIAB on the other computer and it is the same version as the computer your are coming from, you should already have the STY and STX files there. Check to make sure.
This process should work without any trouble.
If you want the user style to show up on the new computer in style picker, make sure you do a SLOW REBUILD of the style list.
Also make sure you do a Song List Rebuild in Song Picker also.
