hi.
can I chang instrument in the middle of a Song/Bar?
is it possible also to change VST instrument?

If you're talking RTs, then sure you can.
F5 key is your friend here. Use it by highlighting the bar you want to change from.

I can't comment if its good for midi too - I rarely use midi.
BTW - I don't think you can change on the half bar, only at the full bar. What you could try is to 'sp!it' the bar into 2 bars at 2 beats per bar, using the second bar for your change, remembering to use F5 again at the following har to restore it to 4 beats.

I'm familiar with F5.
unfortunately, all you can do is chose another instrument name from a list.
This has no effect what so ever, since you can't choose plugins.
Even with the default plugin (CoyoeWT) it doesn't work.

I believe the only way would be to use two tracks. Then F5 to mute and unmute. Or there is that Medly thing or performance tracks that Charlie is always pushing. But only he knows how to do that.

Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but this is worth looking at -
Song Settings button > Bar Settings tab > choose change of instrument

MusicStudent, Nice work around. A bit complicate though. I wish BIAB would make a possibility also to choose VST plugin.
