One Light (Cover)

This is a brief cover song of the Linkin Park ballad-- One More Light.

I produced the music and then had the new SynthesizerV male voice create the vocals. This vocal tool is very helpful in demoing vocal melody to my clients or vocalists as a reference track and much better than my out of tune, cant carry a note voice....

Like any new instrument it takes time to master the tool and i am a long way away from that but with some effort I am starting to see the potential and wanted to would share this song with you. I could have spent more time tuning to improve some pitch and timing and to process the vocals to get this even better

Maybe some of you have heard the original and can appreciate the cover.

I am interested in your feedback on the voice tool.... do you see the value in your workflow or use?

Thanks,
Bob

P.S.
This is the same tool that David Cuny is using

Who knew that a synth voice could be so realistic? It's certainly something I would investigate when I'm earning a regular income.

Hi Bob
Wow
Sounds so real
Incredible
I don't know the original but it sounds fantastic anyway
But Bob, please explain :
How can you "tell" the artificial voice how to sing the song ???
which melody to sing ???
where to emphasize something ????
is really extremely impressive
Many greetings
Andi ;-)

Very cool track... I'm not familiar with the original, but this sounds very good, and the vocal sample is lifelike, I like the guitar sound.

I love the sound and I think everyone should explore new technology. It's truly amazing what can be accomplished, and you showed us the unlimited potential of this product. I think anything that helps us get what we hear down on the "tape" is a value. Nice sound and good song.

Here is a link to the original song One More Light by Linkin Park which will be a reference for you to the computer generated song.

This is a sad song considering the lead from the song, Chester Bennington, committed suicide -- I believe he wrote this for Cris Cornell who also committed suicide

The programing starts with a piano roll look and feel like any DAW where you would enter the notes to the lyric melody

where to emphasize something ????
you have control of many different voice characteristic include pitch, tension, vibrato, gender, volume -- all of which can be tweaked to get it perfect.

is really extremely impressive???
Some people have made amazing songs where they have really taken the time to tweak/tune each voice note. some are even releasing songs with these vocalists

i expect the combination of BIAB and Voice synth will help make me much more productive and successful-

Many greetings

Bob,

Wow. THAT sounded "real". First time I've heard a synth voice that would have fooled me - could NOT tell that was a generated vocal. Impressive.

Nice guitar track, too. Is that a VST?

Looking forward to hearing what you do next with this...

I agree with Floyd in that this is the first artificial vocal that sounds organic. Excellent job on that.

A fantastic however a bit short song.

That was really good!

Very nice. Well.... I listened to the original first thinking that was the synth voice.... Thinking the entire time... Damn! .... Then I realized I was not listening to your cover with the AI vox.

I finally listened to the correct one..... Still pretty impressive.

Technology is amazing.

Sounds like you have taken it up a notch. This demo has a distinct auto tune artifact that I don't hear on your short demo ...

How did you avoid the AT?

I did a little tweaking on the pitch and vibrato -- This is a little confusing at first but playing with it and trying to create a cover helped me first with the timing and length of a word and then little by little saying that word didnt sound right what could i do. Some works/phrases were just perfect.

This is another really well done version - (not by me) -- of one of the voices

Stay with it or advance to around the 3:00 minutes -- I think is really amazing

Bob,
Thanks for sharing. I would have thought this technology to be years away . . . stunningly realistic.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?
