I'm trying to print a lead sheet to PDF... when I hit the option I get a dialogue box saying I have to install the "print to pdf" but when I do that I get another yellow dialogue box in the lower right saying it is already installed. I've rebooted the computer as it suggests, but it goes through the entire process again. I'm stumped...appreciate any help

There are some other threads about this. I forget the details but I think it goes like this: BIAB used to include the free PDF995 utility, which you had to install separately. However, you can always use a PDF driver of your choice (I use Cute PDF) and select that from the regular print menu in BIAB.

If your PC operating is win10 OS, Use the 'Microsoft Print to PDF' instead.
WIN11 OS build 23H2, 16MB, 1TG SSD.

Yes, as advised, do let us know the O/S version you are using, and also the BiaB version.

Try going to C:\bb\Data\Installers\PDF995 Installer (for 2018 and older, it is under C:\bb\Installer\BBHelper\PDF995 and run the autosetup file as the administrator (by right clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator). Many times the program will install in the background without seeing an installer pop up. However, if one does appear, follow the steps in the installer and then re-open Band-in-a-Box.
If that doesn't install the PDF995 driver on your system, you won't want to use the "Print to PDF button" just yet. Instead, make sure you have a PDF writer installed on your computer (ie. Adobe PDF). You can download one of these programs free from the internet if you haven't already. Then, in your LeadSheet Print options window, click the "setup printer" button and change the default printer to your PDF writer. When you click "OK-Print" now it will automatically print to PDF for you.
