I am in no way straying from what I write best, which is gospel, but an opportunity came along to Co-write a country song with someone all the way over on the west coast. She wrote the lyrics, and I wrote the music. It’s seen its share of pain in its day, the years have thrown their many toils its way. But it will keep a smile on your face, and singing a song so full of grace. Who wants this broken heart, it’s got some good times left on it, one thing that I’ll have to admit, it’s left me empty quite a bit. Remember if you take, be careful for both our sakes it’s been hurt from the start, so who wants this broken heart It thought it knew true love, but what did it know, all easy come and easy go. Maybe you can give this heart a second chance, to mend it forever with our romance. Who wants this broken heart, it’s got true love left to give, one thing that I’ll have to admit, it’s left me lonely quite a bit. It's a nice one Ronnie, though I do get the feeling you rush/crush the phrasing at the end of some lines - sort of like the phrase needs a couple of more beats or an whole bar.
That backing vocal comes in pretty loud.
Otherwise - nice one.

I listened to your cheerful/sad swinging country song.
Well done. Nice lyrics and sung pleasantly!
I read some say the bg vocals were too loud. I had no problems with this.
They weren't really bg vocals but singing along.
But I would like to see you use a bit more depth in the mix, more volume to the instruments an a little extra reverb on the vocals.
Like you are singing in a bigger room, or small hall ;-)
But that is just an opinion you can ignore...
