In BIAB 2021 for Windows, window management (especially moveabal piano roll Windows) is quite bad.
It often happens that a window remains behind, or vice versa in the foreground, while I want to display another application from the Windows taskbar.
This frequently leads me to iconize everything to find my BIAB windows.
Moreover, the maximization of windows does not always react as expected (in an environment with 2 screens).
In short, if the jobs has not yet been completed, it would be good to rationalize the Windowsmanagement and make it conform to the standard.

The vueMeter is also capricious and becomes easily inaccessible.
I'm surprised that nobody reacts to this post because obviously the window management is not up to what we can expect from an app like BIAB.

In interest to helping you, can you please describe each of the exact steps to reproduce the issue (starting from the very first step)?
Please list every step, every mouse click and every item that is selected. Otherwise, it's difficult to reproduce and provide assistance or suggested issues/improvements to the developers.

Perhaps DAW Mode is on? Otherwise yes, we need more detail.

Indeed, the mode plug was active.
And I no longer have my window problem once deactivated.
I didn't know that this mode had an impact for standard use.

We have strongly suggested there should be a better indicator when the DaW Plug-in Mode is on.

We have strongly suggested there should be a better indicator when the DaW Plug-in Mode is on. I agree. My workaround is to have the DAW Plug-in Mode window much smaller than my full screen BiaB window. I never change the window sizes so I can always tell where I am. YMMV

Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

The problem arises when others do what you don’t do: maximize the DAW Plugin window. It’s too easy to do with no warning.

We do have a homemade solution. AudioTrack posted an alternative icon. This is like the transport icons I made. However, doing this causes problems unless reapplied each year. This hazard really needs a solution by PG Music.
