1st you need to ask this question in the Real Band forum.

2nd you can change any instrument you want. You hi-lite the track, or the area of track, you want changed. Then right click on that track and select a new real instrument from the drop down folder. In that window you can select whatever instrument you wish.

Not sure I understand the question. Do you mean RealBand or Realtracks? Eitherway, the answer is simple. The beauty of BIAB and Realband, which both employ RealTracks, is that all instruments are variables on your musical pallet.

BIAB – 2026, Reaper (current), i7-12700F Processor, 32GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, Motu Audio Express 6x6 - My SoundCloud.

Not only can you change the instruments, you can also add more, then pick and choose the parts you want..

Go to any blank track and right-click then choose 'generate realtrack'.
Then doubleclick your choice of realtrack. It will generate in the highlighted area

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Don't overlook the midi part generation. Everyone likes to talk about the Real Tracks and they are great but midi is still great too as long as you have a good sounding midi synth. The reason some people will trash midi is they usually don't have a good sounding modern synth to play the midi parts through. Just using the very basic VSC or even worse your onboard sound chip can turn you off to midi. Read my answer in this thread Forum and yes, this question should be in the Real Band forum but that's ok, just hop over there and read the other posts. RB is amazing and unique in the world of music creation/recording. Not perfect of course, it's still missing some things we all wish it could do but still, there's nothing else like it.

Bob

Biab/RB latest build, Win 11 Pro, Ryzen 5 5600 G, 512 Gig SSD, 16 Gigs Ram, Steinberg UR22 MkII, Roland Sonic Cell, Kurzweil PC3, Hammond SK1, Korg PA3XPro, Garritan JABB, Hypercanvas, Sampletank 3, more.

Hi, i will take a look at the Real band forum Bob,and i think the midi is really good as well,i use a coyote synth, and i use my onboard sound on my gigabyte motherboard, which gives out HD sound which then plugs into the creative DDTS 100 decoder ,which is amazing, i also have a sound blaster audigy 2 zs sound card which i could use,but i cant make my mind up ,any way its over to RB to have a look, thanks again Brian
