Hi Folks,
I came on with version 2009.5 and had it only 2 weeks before 2010 came out and got the upgrade. The question I have is anyone noticing that the 2010 is more buggy than in 2009.5? Case in point. When I was using 2009.5 on the same PC I never had the program turn Unresponsive and then come back with "write" errors with referenced memory addresses in them.
Now, with 2010, I am finding that almost everytime I go to use BIAB somewhere in my time I will need to shut down BIAB and reopen it again. Thankfully, I have worked in a habit of frequently saving the file so I don't manage to lose much. But, these errors will happen if I am generating (Pressing Play) or if I am saving a file. Sometimes, when I am selecting a soloist and am in the dialog boxes setting up the soloist. The trouble is that it is not consistent. On most attempts the process moves smoothly. However, the 20% of the time does stop the creative flow because I have to attend to a program shut down and restart. The most recent error I had would not let me click out of it. As soon as I did it came immediately back. This one enabled me to work in BIAB but not let me save however.
Anyone else experiencing these "memory address" issues? I have more than enough to meet the product specs. I have a 500GB HD and 3GB RAM.

Rick - have you run the most uptodate builds on 2010? I believe we're at 295. That may sort out some of your issues. I upgraded 2008.5 and so far there seems to be no bugs that I've encountered.

294 is the latest build, unless I'm missing something.

Yes, we're at 294 for about a week.

I know when 2010 just had come out there were some updates. And I loaded them. But, I failed to look back to see if there were additional ones.

I just noticed in fact that 293 was updated ealier this month as well. Should I also add this to the updates? I had downloaded this update back in December. And I will make it a practice to check more regularly.

Ricke, if you download 294, it will have all prior modifications included. No need to download 293.

Mike, we've had build 294 since January 18. There has been no mention of the next update. Sometimes Peter Gannon will tell us what he plans to put in a new update and about when to expect it, but not often, and not this time.

So Matt, was there that much significant change between 2009.5 to 2010 that would prompt more updates?
