Hi All,
Really puzzeled over this one.
Select this realtrack on the realtracks picker page,select preview
instead of the green play icon,this solos the bass track.
Bass plays perfect all notes level wise are fine.
Now enter any chords in the chord sheet and generate.
Certain notes are so low in volume they are inaudible.
Dosent seem to matter which key.
You can see this in the audio edit window.
I know you can edit the levels but it is too time consuming.
Any ideas as to how this happens.?

maybe use a plug in to even things out for you ?
remember dynamics can vary on bass.

That’s true, but I would still send an email to support@pgmusic.com and reference this thread. They may be able to remix the track and add it to a patch.

Hi,
Think I have found the problem.
In the Realtracks folder on the harddrive goto folder
Bass,Electric,AmericanaSyncSteveAB EV16 085.
bs5807 Wav.is a lot lower level than all the other files including Wma,s
bs5807 Wma is fine.
So any script utilising any part of bs5807 wav file will be at a lower level.
Question is can I edit that file and resave to the same folder.
Or will it mess things up.

Tried to send a jpg.but couldnt figure how to.
Theres at least 10 to 12 db of a difference.Thats a lot.

I haven’t had time to check this but you have it under control. Yes, you could use a stereo editor to raise the gain of that particular raw RealTrack WAV.
If you are not comfortable doing that, temporarily you could open the WMA file in an editor and save it to WAV since you say that level is good. The quality will only be that of the WMA file, though.
You probably know this but you should store a copy of your modified WAV file. The next major update might overwrite your file (although it shouldn’t if the date stamp of yours is newer). If that update contains a patch for this RealTrack, then you won’t need the backup anyway.

Raised the level by 10db in sample editor and replaced the exsisting wav file.
All good now.

I just checked that RealTracks folder without thinking first, but then realized this is an Audiophile version problem only. I have the UltraPAK version with only the .WMA files. Never mind.

Correct. Since the WMA file is fine in the audiophile version, I’m not surprised it’s fine in non-audiophile versions. That’s good you checked, though.
