Well-told story and a fine tribute to your grandfather and the rest of the crew. Speaking of crews, you assembled a fine group for this song. Man, the whole feel is perfect for the title and the subject. The title was very compelling. How could anyone pass up a song with that title? It's definitely a song that could be sung by the whole crew swabbing the deck.

I like the idea of reviving colourful family stories in song; you made a good one from rich details.
The chorus hook is strong and the rocking backing gives the subject a nice edge.
I agree the vocals aren`t quite balanced with the band.
