With an edirol Orchestral softsynth (2 instruments of it used) everything plays find, but when doing the merge, I listen to resulting audio and a note invariably gets stuck thsat stays stuck for subsequent RB replays, till I hit the panic in the Edirol software. Without the merge, she plays like a champo every time, but something in that merge is triggering a stuck note that won't unstick (only when the .seq subsequently plays,... when it's stopped...no stuck sound) until the panic is hit in edirol.
I can't figure out what in the merge could do this doing this. As a workaround I just recorded the playing sequence in real time, but if someone has an inkling, I would greatly appreciate it-

Look at the note in the event editor. See if yields a clue. Look for such things as another event that may be interrupting the note off command, such as a program change occurring before the note off message is sent..or a stray controller event..
You did not mention if it was the same note each time.
Another thing to try, save the seq under a different name. This may be a case of a bad spot on HardDrive, and saving it with a different name will cause it to be written elsewhere..
Just a couple guesses

Thanks R -I isolated it down to being one cello track, and when it plays the track, it got stuck on the first note, and ignored all subsequent. since the panic button in Edirol is the one that frees it up, I guess it's something in the interaction, but too busy to spend the time required for satisfaction. i re-recorfdeed the track and all seems ok for now

I would also look to see if another track is using the same channel. The two could be stepping on each other.
