Not sure when this happened, missed out a couple of earlier updates then found the changes when I installed 927. The included Screenshots are from 905 and 927. I recall a conversation about renaming Kill Soloist to Erase, but we have lost the following edits; Adjust level of Soloist Part Copy to Melody Track Move to Melody Track Kill (erase) entire Soloist Part. (I don't use Choruses but found by trial and error that Erase from Last Chorus will do what I need.) I checked through this years patches to 905 and couldn't find any reference to these changes so I'm hoping this is an oversight that can be fixed.

Thanks, I was aware of that, but found the location in Edit Soloist Menu more convenient and requiring fewer 'clicks'. I also liked that the menus for editing Melody or Soloist were almost identical. Other than the conversation re. Kill or Erase I don't recall any great clamour in the Wishlist asking for this. Looks like a fix for something that wasn't broken. Vintage
Have you tried right-clicking on "Soloist" and selecting "Track Actions"? This is where the choices you list are located in my 2023 version of the program.
Thanks Noel, still trying to decide if 23 has anything I really need, but I am aware that the various alternatives have been available in 22. I put the question to support when I did the original post and their responses told me the same without any further explanation until the latest, quoted below.
Last reply, PGM to me; I will pass your thoughts on to the developers, however I don't think the old menu entries will return as the new Copy/Move Tracks does the same job, and they've been working on removing redundant menu options to clean things up, which is something that many users have requested over the years. To access the Copy/Move Tracks option quickly you can press Alt E, then Y, then T.
For the Kill/Erase Soloist track, it can be easily accessed by right clicking on any track in the mixer and choosing Erase Track from the Track Actions submenu.
Me to PGM; Thanks for the response. I agree, the menu system is in need of a complete revision and tidy-up, not sure that doing it quietly, one item at a time is the correct approach.
