1. When I try to select a track category on an audio track - I see the categories like Vocal but all the sub categories like Male vocal are gone. All I see is a list of 'Unassigned'. It was working until recently. Any suggestions on how to recover?
2. When a create a BIAB song and pull it into RB, On the first beat of the song, I hear an extraneous note. Usually a piano note. I have tried clearing the first measure on all 48 tracks but to no avail.
If I create a WAV file the note gets added. If I import the WAV back into RB I can then delete
the offending note and all is well but I'd rather not have to do that. This is also a new issue and was not happening until recently.
Any suggetions are welcome. Thanks

1. Make sure Windows Indexing is on for that folder, it is needed for the underlying code..
2. Try hitting the exclamation point before rendering. This should clear all midi data. I have never seen this problem before. Can't troubleshoot it if ya can't replicate it.
What soundcard and OS?

Rharv - thanks for replying
Could you elaborate a little bit more on your suggestion for problem 1. I'm not sure what you're telling me to do.
Problem 2 - interesting point - I did start using the external usb SB X-FI GO somewhat recently. I'll try reverting back to the internal soundcard to see if it makes a difference. Its an intermittent problem. The OS is XP.

I think it is only required for the Realband folder. The first explanation turns it on for the whole drive
the second for individual files or folders
1. Open "my computer"
2. Right click on the drive you wish to enable/disable indexing on, typically "C"
3. Select "properties"
4. At the bottom of the window check or uncheck the box labeled "Allow Indexing Service
to index this disk for fast file searching"
5. Click "apply"
For individual files -
1. Right click on desired file or folder
2. Click "Properties"
3. Click the "General" tab
4. Select "Advanced"
5. In the table labeled "Archive and Index attributes" check the box labeled "For
fast searching, allow Indexing Service to index this file"
6. Click "Ok"
7. Repeat for any other file you wish to be indexed
If you do a large drive it may take a little while to do.
