Greetings Forum,
I am getting very frustrated. I am running RB 2010 2b on Windows XP sp3 using Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro. I chose the Mac because I need reliability on liver performances.
Any time I play back my songs there is a random drop-out. Sometimes for a split second, sometimes for a couple of seconds.
It happens when I use an interface or when I use the headphone jack. There is a random pause in the playback. Obviously I cannot use this in my live performance.
Are there some buffer settings that I am missing? I have tried ASIO and MME. I have tweaked the buffers and the like for weeks with the same result.
I have turned off everything running in the background, Bluetooth, virus protection etc.
I went to CTR,ALT,Delete and set the priority for Realband to High & Realtime. Nothing seems to work.

Hello Saxy,
Can you do an experiment to see if it is MIDI tracks or Audio tracks, or both that are dropping out? What are you using for MIDI playback (MIDI Driver Setup window)? DXi synth?

That would be (my term) interspersed s=p=a=m.
They copied what someone else posted and interspersed the links.
At the bottom of every posting, you should see "Post Extras:" with 4 icons. The third icon is to report the message to the moderator. Note that if someone else has already reported it, it will tell you that, so the moderator doesn't get inundated.

Sadly these sort of folks keep thinking that this is okay. One day the powers that be will figure out a way to do something about this. It is too stinking bad you can send a signal to their computer and blow it up! Course what is good for the goose ..... comes into play!
