Hello chacune et chacun! YESSSS!
Success from our forum member: "Hello everyone! YESSSS! Band-in-a-Box is finally installed, and working perfectly! A big big thank you to everyone, and in particular to Andrews, whose post accompanied by an image, greatly enlightened me, and reassured me, too, I must admit! May the triumphal march of the trumpets of Aïda, finale of act 2, resound in your lives!
My last little concern is this:
For some reason that escapes me, the ".SGU" files are not related to Band-in-a-Box, yet duly and fully activated. What I mean by this is that when I double-click on one of them, from the folder that contains them (folder created by me and called "AAA-Work"), Windows 10 offers me a list of programs that can open it...list in which Band-in-a-Box does not appear! I also specify that the SGU files themselves do not appear under the Band-in-a-Box icon, which, in principle, should be the case. I remember in the past, I could double-click on the file, wherever it was, anywhere on the computer, and it opened with BiaB directly. What?
For the moment, for the purpose of experimentation, I have just proceeded against the current, I would say, by opening Band-in-a-Box first, and then, from the program itself, by "file" > "Open", by opening one of my songs. He read it without any problem. The concern therefore clearly does not come from Biab.
In summary, I presumably need to do something to be able, as I have for years, to double click on the SGU file directly from my "AAA-Work" folder and that it opens with Biab. How do I proceed? I'm sure it shouldn't be rocket science, but I couldn't find...
In any case, again a sound and glorious thank you to all!
friendly
Alceste"
