I'm using BIAB to create backing tracks that I ultimately store on a looper pedal. Even though I have turned off the lead-in clicks, the rendered file always has them. Currently, I use and external DAW (Reaper) to remove the lead-in. Is there a 'magic' or hidden setting that will prevent the clicks from being included in a rendered file?
Solved. Gadzooks, the menu item "Save Special..." does not present the same options as the .wav button on the top menu. You have to select "Export as Audio File" in the options box that pops up and turn off "2-bar lead-in" as well. I also turned off the metronome clicks everywhere that option comes up. Had to go to three different places to make sure all the overlapping settings were set the same.
Mike, ever since I got the looper pedal over a year ago, I've had to use a DAW to remove the lead-in measure from the rendered files - all because I was using the File menu instead of the .WAV button. I have no plausible explanation why I didn't try the button. Or maybe I did but missed the yellowed option you marked up. Dunno.
