Welcome Rachel,

You may have thick thighs and beautiful eyes, neither which we can see, but one thing I can comment on is that you have one hell of a great voice!
Great lyrics and a super mix.
Outstanding groove!

Loved it.

Doc-take it easy John this is just a sharp scalpel. It will not cut deep so don't worry.

Rachel and David, I wasn’t expecting that. Was anybody? It is certainly unique and different in a good way. Your collabs are going to be a fun journey for us all. Rachel, keep singing! When I first heard my voice on tape it freaked me out big time. I no longer hate it as much as I originally did. The lyrics on all your songs are interesting and that’s good place to start. David is a master at putting together musical beds. Good luck to you both, we’re all watching and listening, Tom

MarioD,

I plan to keep my thighs and my eyes to myself, but I will share my voice again. grin

Thank you so much for commenting. I had lots of feelings about recording vocals, definitely some fear, but in the end, really enjoyed the experience.

Tommyad,

The comedian Jeff Foxworthy as a bit about his brother commenting on the movie Homeward Bound by saying, "You know that ain't them dogs real voice." That joke resonates with me when I hear myself. Is that what I sound like?

I had so much fun recording with David and I think that is what comes across for me. I can hear a good time.

Thank you for your encouragement.

Scott C,

We plan to keep it interesting, hopefully in an interesting way. Being new to songwriting, I want to explore the entire space, as many genres as I can.

Hi Rachel and David,

Rachel, a warm welcome for you here!
I thought you were only writing the lyrics for David, but he convinced you to sing them too, or did you do that voluntairly?
He always have some funny twists in a lot of his songs, but he found a challenge in you.
You can sing in a very funy way, while describing yourself. That does not happen often. But I got the picture!

Do you have plans to sing along, or are you already doing so, but I missed that?

The song is very nice, although I have to admit I had to get used to it. And so I listened to it again and now I'm singing abouth my beautiful eyes too...
(I skiped the tights part),

Hans

Hans,

Thank you for the welcome.

This song was my first time singing a demo, which was intimidating at first, but in the end I really enjoyed the process and had fun. David says I am now singing all my own demos, so you will be hearing more of me on the forum.

musician17,

Thank you so much for the encouragement. David and I are spooling up a couple three songs that will allow me to explore my vocals beyond the feel of THICK THIGHS.

In December when I contacted David about songwriting, I had no idea I would be singing. So much is new to me and so far I am still having fun!

Rachel
