Jeg er helt nybegynder, så I må bærer over med mig. Det jeg ønsker at bruge Band in a Box til er følgende.
skrive en sang ind, f.eks. fra en sangbog, og så få Band in a box til at give et bud på hvordan bas delen skal spilles, kan programmet det? Hvis ja hvordan?
Hvis ovennævnte er muligt, er det så også muligt at vælge stilarter, f.eks vælge at bassen skal spilles som jazz eller funk?
Jeg prøvede programmet for nogle år tilbage, da man kunne prøve en demo version. Det var ikke muligt for mig at finde ud af det dengang, nogle sange havde basdelen på, og andre havde ikke. Det underlige var at bas delen blev spillet, men ikke vist på fretboardet.
Håber at I kan hjælpe.
Det er jo mange penge at smide efter programmet, hvis den ikke har det jeg leder efter, så hvis nogen af jer ved om der er en demo/prøve version på en af de nyere versioner, vil jeg da meget gerne vide det.

Man behøver da ikke undskylde, at man er nybegynder for Band-in-a-Box er da ret kompliceret, hvis man går i dybden.
Ja, du kan skrive en sang ind og høre den i alle mulige stilarter. Ja, der er flere tusind efterhånden. Hvergang du vælger en stilart, får du ikke bare et bud på bassen, men også på, hvordan de andre instrumenter skal spilles. Dvs. du kan høre din sang som jazz, funk, rock latin - som sagt, der er efterhånden tusindvis af muligheder.
Du spørger hvordan! Det er ret simpelt: Tast akkorderne ind, vælg en stilart og 'indram sangen', - dvs. bestem hvor mange takter, den skal være, og om der evt er en intro. Du kan også indspille/indtaste melodien, hvis du ønsker det.
Programmet har udviklet sig utroligt de sidste år, så du kan slet ikke sammenligne det med det program, du har haft en demo af. Det er ikke længere muligt at få en demo af Band-in-a-Box, men prøv at gå ind og hør nogle af de demoer, som findes på hjemmesiden. Noget af det du sikkert ikke har hørt, er RealTrack og RealDrums. Det er altså rigtige musikere, som spiller, - nogle af dem er verdenskendte , fx Brent Mason. Nogle af RealTracks har såkaldete RealCharts, dvs at der også er noder til, selvom det ikke er MIDI.
Du spørger også, om bassen bliver vist på gribebrættet. Ja, det gør den ved alle MIDI stilarterne og ved de fleste af RealTracks stilarterne.
Ja, programmet er ikke gratis, men det er også et omfattende program, som kan rigtig mange ting og som er 'one of a kind'. Jeg vil fraråde dig at købe de mindste versioner af programmet. Det er når man har alle RealTracks og Realdrums, at programmet virkeligt er noget værd.
