I don't know about other people here but you got to be kidding me to use someone with a sound on tenor and alto on Jazz that is not up to current sounds. Meaning someone that has at least a hint of sounding like Michael Brecker sound or Sanborn or even cannonball. The playing is choppy and is most likely a hard rubber mouthpiece that hardly anyone uses for the last 30 years. Now I just heard the soprano sax and Alto on the smooth jazz tune and they sound great. I suggest getting the same person that does the smooth jazz solos to do the jazz tenor and alto and replace the files. The difference from the tenor sound and soprano and alto sound it light years apart..Also since we pay for this program we can complain about the players sound. Who here likes the tenor sound or alto sound on the older jazz tunes?

In this case I can say, I love the trombone and trumpet RTs and use them when I can - nuff said.

I assume you're talking the Real Tracks. This is the problem with RT's. Everyone has an opinion about how they should sound. Guitarist will say wow, the playing is great but can I have the same file played on a Les Paul? The piano guys will say at certain tempos the chords are too choppy, there's ton's of threads about some of the basses being too busy but others like them as is. We're all musicians, think about how many times we used to audition players for our bands back in the day or even currently? There's hundreds of RT now, to add all this to them could easily double the number. Just do the best you can with them and add your request to those on the Wishlist forum. You're new with this so it's hard to understand exactly how these work and how revolutionary they are. Here you are taking a prerecorded audio file and chopping it up according to your key sig and chords? Nothing on the market can do that except these programs. It's amazing actually but as you've noted still not perfect. What is?
