Hi PhillyJazz,
You should be able to do this by inserting a Control change event on the Melody or Soloist track (the track that has the harmonies). So just hit the [#] button in the Notation window, hit [Insert], select "Control Change", then choose either controller 0-MSB or 32-LSB, and select one of the harmony channels for the event. The default channels for the harmonies are 11, 12, 13, and 14, but you can change these in Opt | Preferences | Channels | Harmonies...
