Hi all, For me, Songwriting and Band In A Box are hand and glove: the two are a perfect fit. I couldn't easily write songs without Band In A Box and if I didn't feel a need to write songs, I wouldn't have bought BIAB. Just today, I stumbled across a website put together by Steve Seskin. Steve has had several Nashville #1 hits. The site features instructional videos from some of the most highly respected songwriting teachers around. I have been to a number of Steve's songwriting seminars and he's sensational. If you're like me and use BIAB to write songs, you might be interested in the below link. Noel, that looks interesting. I wonder how long the $49.99 cost will allow you membership/access? For a songwriting alternative, I encourage you to check out www.fawm.org which is the February Album Writing Month site. TONS of good songrwiters there, each contributing songs and critiquing songs and offering up tips on kicking your creativity in the pants.

Thanks for letting us know about this Noel. After spending a few minutes looking the website over I quickly decided it was worth the $50 even if only for 19 days. I watched 4 of Steve's videos today and they were fantastic. I have read a lot about some of the things he presents but watching his real life examples really hit home. Hopefully the annual membership after the beta phase will not be too expensive because I would like to keep using the site.
